Sr. Aircraft Structural Mechanic Team Lead

Candidate needs HS diploma or GED and have successfully completed a technical school, trade school, or armed services technical school curriculum in airframe/structural systems or at least 30 semester hours of college courses in engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum. Position requires 2 years experience in supervising installation of AFCs and aircraft modifications at the depot level for P-3C aircraft.  Must have 8 years of experience performing operation and maintenance of military aircraft airframe/structural systems including 4 years installing AFCs at the depot level. Must be able to pass drug screening test and obtain and hold a DoD Secret clearance. Job location is Jacksonville, FL. Requisition # 2008-048

 

Aircraft Electronics / Electrical Technician

Candidate needs HS diploma or GED and have successfully completed a technical school, trade school, or armed services technical school curriculum in electronics or electrical systems or at least 30 semester hours of college courses in engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum. Must have 4 years of experience performing operation and maintenance of military aircraft electronics or electrical systems which includes substantial background in troubleshooting and repair electrical/electronics systems and preferably 2 years experience with P-3C aircraft. Candidate must have skills to support installation of AFCs and aircraft modifications. Must be able to pass drug screening test and obtain and hold a DoD Secret clearance. Electrical Engineer 

Candidate requires BS in electrical/electronics engineering and 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of military avionics systems. Familiarity with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), ATLAS programming, test and evaluation, and Naval aviation maintenance procedures will be viewed favorably. Must be able to evaluate technical material and develop integration approaches to insert technology or procedures into existing/emerging ATE systems. Must be able to prepare test plans and reports. Position requires the ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret clearance. Job location is Patuxent River, MD. Requisition # 2008-025

 

Mechanical Engineer 

Candidate requires BS degree in mechanical engineering and 2-5 years engineering experience with an emphasis in environmental and dynamic test engineering. The candidate should possess experience in design and fabrication of test fixtures and have knowledge in instrumentation systems. Ability to develop test plans, procedures, and reports for the development, test, and evaluation of aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is desired. Additionally, looking for engineering experience in structure design and analysis and a familiarity with dynamics, such as vibration and shock. Must be able to provide technical assistance to troubleshoot, fault-isolate, and correct failures to test equipment such as drive stands, gearboxes, vibration shakers, and climatic chambers. Experience with mechanical engineering software, especially Solid Works, is desired. Must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance. Job location is Patuxent River, MD. Requisition # 2008-028

Environmental Test Engineer 

Candidate requires BS in engineering and 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of environmental and dynamic testing. Must have knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of engineering to enable to serve as an expert in the design, development, test, and evaluation and service application of electrical power systems under severe altitude, attitude temperature vibration and shock conditions associated with airborne applications. Must be familiar with tools required for test set up and the design and fabrication of test apparatus. Experience in test planning, budgeting, conduct and reporting is preferred. Position requires the ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret clearance. Job location is Patuxent River, MD. Requisition # 2008-022

 

Engineering Technician (2 positions available)

Candidate needs HS diploma or GED and have successfully completed a technical school, trade school, or armed services technical school curriculum or at least 30 semester hours of college courses in engineering, scientific, or technical curriculum. Position requires 6 or more years of experience in E-2C and/or P-3C avionics maintenance and test. Experience in NAVAIR-AD test environment is a plus. Must be able to review technical drawings, order material, and assemble and test aircraft cabling and wiring for avionics systems and support installation of racks, mounts, cabling, and avionics boxes into aircraft, laboratory, and maintenance trainers. Requires expert knowledge to troubleshoot and repair particularly complex electrical and electronic failures. Must be able to work in an un-air-conditioned industrial and flight line environments, travel in commercial airlines, drive automobiles, and carry/lift up to 50 lbs of equipment. Position requires the ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret clearance. Job location is Patuxent River, MD. Requisition # 2008-018
